Time to Fly

Time to Fly is a dedicated, faith-based organization located in La Plata, MD, committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence. Our comprehensive, free 3 Step program offers essential support for women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland, ensuring they regain their self-worth and sense of identity. Participants receive a range of services including counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills, financial training, and computer classes, all while building a supportive network. Our workshops address critical topics such as the roots and effects of domestic violence, the importance of speaking out, and discovering a path aligned with God’s plan. Additionally, our After Care Program caters to spiritual and practical needs, providing life-skills workshops and access to essential resources like housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare available, we welcome up to 50 women and 15 children per session, scheduled quarterly, to create a nurturing environment for meaningful change.
