Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Joppa, MD, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Through our tuition-free program, we empower Fellows to engage in hands-on education at the Allegheny Farm in Virginia, focusing on socially, environmentally, and economically equitable food systems. Our Fellowship encompasses comprehensive training in organic food system practices, where participants actively grow and distribute diverse crops, implement community health educational sessions, maintain school gardens, and enhance food literacy in educational settings. During their six-month immersive experience, Fellows will also collaborate with local non-profits to support farmers markets and create avenues for healthier food access in the community.
