MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Huntingtown, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to effectively screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management services. From interactive group sessions and telephone lifestyle coaching to our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which offers in-home messaging support, we provide a range of treatment options tailored to meet the diverse needs of our Veterans. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management. For those who need additional assistance, we offer weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery for individuals who continue to struggle with weight-related challenges after participating in MOVE!. We encourage interested Veterans to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards healthier living.
