Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Huntingtown, MD, is dedicated to cultivating passionate advocates for a just and sustainable food system through hands-on training and education. This unique program empowers selected Fellows to explore organic food systems, engage with community partners, and implement innovative practices that support local food initiatives. Participants gain invaluable experience by growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing health-focused educational sessions, and maintaining gardens within schools and communities. The Fellowship eliminates tuition costs, making this opportunity accessible to those committed to creating equitable food systems. After six months of immersive study at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows will embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to effect meaningful change. Applications are accepted until March for experiences from May to October, as we invite aspiring advocates to join us in building a healthier, more resilient food landscape.
