Christina Zuniga

Christina Zuniga is a dedicated counselor and licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), with a certification in Perinatal Mental Health. With a passion for maternal mental health issues, Christina understands the challenges many pregnant and postpartum individuals face. She recognizes that there are vital conversations often left unspoken, leading to many women suffering in silence amidst the overwhelming pressures of motherhood. Christina firmly believes that every individual deserves support on their journey and that no one should navigate this path alone. Her approach to therapy is client-centered, where she meets individuals at their current stage in life. Utilizing diverse modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she customizes her methods to fit her clients' unique needs. With experience spanning since 2009 across various mental health settings, including outpatient centers, schools, and military environments, Christina draws upon her diverse background to inform her practice. Having traveled extensively as a military family, she now calls Maryland home and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
