Family Support

Located in Havre De Grace, MD, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to supporting individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, along with their families and care providers. Our Family Support team plays a crucial role by offering accurate information and compassionate assistance right when families need it most following a diagnosis. We provide a range of vital services, including parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management support. Additionally, we guide families through the often complex processes of applying for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
