MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Frostburg, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they are connected with personalized care options tailored to their unique needs. Our range of services includes engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support via messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-managed approach, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, for Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight-related issues after engaging with our program, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. Each facility may offer different services, so we encourage Veterans interested in transforming their health to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
