Family Shelter Program

Located in Ellicott City, MD, the Family Shelter Program provides a safe haven for families in crisis, offering 33 emergency beds designed to support them during their time of need. Our dedicated team welcomes each client into a structured environment for up to three months, with the option to apply for an extension under special circumstances. Every family is paired with a case manager who collaborates closely with them to formulate a personalized case plan that addresses their unique challenges. Beyond shelter, we empower residents with essential life skills by offering counseling, job placement assistance, budgeting guidance, and parenting support. We also facilitate access to vital resources, including mental health services and addiction treatment. To ensure transportation needs are met, we offer assistance, along with limited financial support to help families transition to stability.
