Family Shelter Program

The Family Shelter Program in Ellicott City, MD, is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for families facing shelter crises. With 33 beds available, we offer provisional emergency shelter for up to three months, during which each family is paired with a compassionate case manager who guides them in creating a personalized case plan to address their unique challenges. Residents can apply for a three-month extension, totaling six months of stay, with additional extensions available in special circumstances. Our dedicated staff offers supportive counseling, job and apartment search assistance, budgeting and parenting skills training, and connects families with vital mental health and social services, including addiction treatment. Additionally, we provide transportation and limited financial assistance to help families regain their stability and empowerment.
