Family Support

At the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) in Elkton, MD, we are dedicated to providing essential support for individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families. Our Family Support team is committed to offering clear, accurate information and compassionate guidance during the critical stages following a diagnosis. We provide a wealth of resources, including parent mentoring, nutritional education and meal planning, behavior management strategies, and assistance with navigating applications and appeals for Medicaid, insurance, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
