Individual Shelter

Individual Shelter, located in Columbia, MD, is dedicated to providing emergency shelter and comprehensive support for up to 18 individuals at a time, helping around 55 to 75 people each year. Our compassionate team offers personalized assistance through primary counselors or case managers, guiding residents in developing individualized housing plans that may encompass employment opportunities, savings strategies, addiction treatment, psychiatric care, training for GED completion, and debt management. We extend the same supportive services offered to families to all individual residents, ensuring that each person receives the care they need to rebuild their lives.
