Refugee Resettlement

At the International Rescue Committee in College Park, MD, we are dedicated to empowering refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, and survivors of torture to thrive in the United States. We provide essential services to help meet their basic needs, including furnished housing, rental assistance, healthcare access, and nutritious food assistance. Our comprehensive programs also include English language education, skill-building workshops in job readiness, financial literacy, and support for children's education. We take pride in welcoming refugees at the airport and providing the ongoing social services and legal support they need as they embark on their new journey towards residency and citizenship, ensuring they feel embraced and supported in their transition to a new life.
