Washington DC VA Medical Center

The Washington DC VA Medical Center, located in Chevy Chase, MD, is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive range of health services tailored to meet the unique needs of our nation's Veterans. Our compassionate and committed staff pride themselves on providing exceptional care in a supportive environment, covering essential services such as invasive and noninvasive cardiology, women’s health, nutritional services, trauma services, and substance abuse treatment. We also offer home-based primary care, interventional radiology, telehealth services, and specialized programs for homeless outreach and compensated work therapy. Veterans eligible for care are encouraged to enroll in the VA Health Care System and can easily schedule an appointment by contacting our Patient Service Center. To start the enrollment process, simply complete an Application for Health Care Benefits, which is available online or can be submitted in person at the Medical Center.
