Refugee Resettlement

In Chevy Chase, MD, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is dedicated to helping refugees, asylees, survivors of human trafficking, and other immigrants successfully rebuild their lives in America. Our comprehensive resettlement program provides essential support including furnished homes, rental assistance, health care, nutritious and affordable food, and opportunities for education and skills development. We also offer English language classes, job readiness training, financial literacy workshops, and social services to enhance community integration.
