Basic Needs Assistance

Basic Needs Assistance serves the residents of Chevy Chase, MD, by providing critical support during times of financial crisis. Our mission is dedicated to preventing homelessness and food insecurity in the southern Montgomery County area. We offer a range of essential services, including assistance with rent and utility payments to keep families safely in their homes, prescription aid for valid medical needs, and emergency food deliveries that supply three days' worth of groceries for each household member. In addition to our direct support, we ensure that those in need are connected to further resources for ongoing assistance.
