Janell Morton

Janell Morton is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who believes in the journey of life as a series of transitions. As an LPC intern, she recognizes that engaging with challenges during these pivotal moments often requires professional support. Creating a safe, non-judgmental space is a top priority for her, allowing clients to freely express themselves. Her goal is to empower each individual to discover their inherent strengths and resources that may have previously gone unnoticed. Janell is committed to working collaboratively with clients to achieve their desired goals. A proud first-generation college graduate from Bowie State University, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Currently, she is pursuing her Master's degree in Forensic Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her interests include working with teens, adults, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Janell passionately believes that while everyone makes mistakes and faces struggles, individuals are not defined by their pasts but rather have the power to shape their present and future.
