Elizabeth Emen is a dedicated adoption-competent therapist affiliated with the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.). Elizabeth provides valuable support to young people and adults affected by adoption, helping them navigate the unique emotional and behavioral challenges that may arise from both pre- and post-adoption experiences. Through early intervention, individuals and families can effectively address and overcome these challenges. With her extensive skills and experience, Elizabeth understands the many facets influencing the life-long journey of adoption. C.A.S.E. operates in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and New York, offering specialized adoption-competent therapy tailored to the needs of expectant parents, birth parents, prospective and waiting adoptive parents, kinship families, as well as adoptive and foster children and teens. In addition to personalized individual and family therapy sessions, C.A.S.E. also offers secure telehealth services, providing interactive video conference counseling for older adolescents and adults.
