MOVE! Weight Management Program

Based in Bethesda, MD, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year and connected to the appropriate weight management services that align with their individual needs. We offer a comprehensive range of options, including group sessions, personalized telephone coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program for convenient at-home monitoring and support. For those who prefer self-management, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while Veterans who face ongoing challenges can access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring initial program offerings.
