Family Support

In Berlin, MD, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to empowering individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families. Our Family Support team offers essential resources and guidance from the moment of diagnosis, ensuring families have the information they need to navigate this journey. We provide a range of services including personalized parent mentoring, nutritional education and meal planning, behavior management assistance, and support with Medicaid application processes, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
