Kim Bennett-selby

Kim Bennett-Selby is a highly experienced clinician with 32 years in the field of clinical social work and therapy, having graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990. She believes that changing one's thoughts can transform one's world, and her mission is to assist others in viewing their situations from a different angle as they develop their recovery skills. Throughout her career, Kim has provided invaluable services to a diverse range of populations, including elementary school students, foster children, juvenile delinquents, seniors, and individuals within family, group, and couples therapy in outpatient mental health settings. She has held the role of Clinical Director at several Outpatient Mental Health Clinics in both Harford County and Baltimore City, showcasing her leadership and commitment to mental health care. Utilizing an eclectic theoretical framework, Kim tailors her approach to each individual, ensuring that their unique needs are met. Moreover, Kim serves as a Board-approved Supervisor for the State of Maryland and holds a position as an Adjunct Instructor at Harford Community College. As an active member of the Harford County Trauma Institute and co-facilitator for the Harford County Kinship Care Navigation Program, she continues to contribute significantly to her community and the field of mental health.
