Deborah Lee Jennings

Deborah Lee Jennings is an experienced counselor with a Master of Education and licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), specializing in serving clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and elders. She is committed to assisting individuals, families, and couples in navigating challenges related to psychological trauma and grief. With a strong focus on trauma-informed care, Deborah has treated various cases involving victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and those coping with complex grief resulting from suicide and homicide. Her clients often seek help for anxiety, mood disorders, and behavioral issues, including ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders among children. Deborah employs a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, trauma-focused approaches, and expressive therapies, such as EMDR and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). She has completed postgraduate certificate programs in Psychological Trauma and Advanced Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at Boston University and is recognized as a Fellow in Thanatology, awarded by the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC).
