Nancy Hayden Adams

Nancy Hayden Adams is a compassionate clinical social worker and licensed therapist who provides a safe, warm, and non-judgmental environment for creative and collaborative therapy. With extensive experience working with a diverse clientele, Nancy addresses a variety of challenges including PTSD, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, anger management, grief and loss, and other issues that instigate a desire for change. She currently offers TeleHealth and phone therapy sessions, utilizing a strengths-based and relational approach that she has refined through her many interactions with clients. Nancy's practice integrates psychodynamic theory, narrative therapy, self-psychology, and trauma-informed treatment. Additionally, she is trained in iRest guided meditation, a therapeutic technique developed by psychologist Richard Miller, which she applies effectively in her work with individuals seeking support, including U.S. veterans.
