Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Roslindale, MA, is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and families with children up to five years old in establishing healthy food habits. We offer personalized nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding guidance, and access to essential breastfeeding supplies, including breast pumps. Through our program, participants receive a special debit card to purchase healthy food options like milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, tailored to meet the family's needs. Additionally, our knowledgeable counselors provide information and referrals to vital community services, including SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, and fuel assistance. Families receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth are automatically income eligible for WIC, ensuring that our services reach those who need them most, including foster children under age five.
