Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

New Bedford, MA US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in New Bedford, MA is dedicated to transforming the food system into one that is fair, sustainable, and accessible for all. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, we empower our Fellows to become advocates and educators who champion social, environmental, and economic justice in agriculture. Our program offers free tuition to ensure inclusivity and provides extensive education in organic farming practices, enabling participants to engage in initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating innovative health education, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools. Over a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows actively collaborate with local non-profits to foster food justice and improve access to healthy food across the community. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March for a transformative journey from May to October each year.
