Home Delivered Meals, part of Bristol Elder Services in Mansfield, MA, is dedicated to ensuring that seniors age 60 and older receive nutritious, well-balanced meals right at their doorstep. Commonly known as 'Meals on Wheels,' our program addresses the needs of those who face difficulties in preparing their own meals or lack access to congregate dining options. We start with a personalized, free in-home assessment conducted by our compassionate case managers to determine eligibility. Meals are thoughtfully planned by a nutritionist and prepared by a professional caterer, ensuring that each meal meets at least one-third of the daily nutritional guidelines for older adults. Special dietary options, including modified meals for diabetes, pureed, and renal diets, are also available in the greater Fall River and Taunton areas. While we politely request a small donation for each meal to sustain the program, we never turn away anyone in need. Our services extend to residents in multiple municipalities including Attleboro, Berkley, Dighton, Fall River, and more, fostering a commitment to providing essential food assistance for those who need it most.
