Callahan Center

The Callahan Center in Framingham, MA, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors aged 55 and older through a wide range of vital services and support. Our mission focuses on fostering healthy aging by building partnerships within the community to reach underserved populations, including individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and gender backgrounds, as well as those facing health challenges. We offer essential services such as emergency food assistance, transportation through our Local Framingham van, and information referrals on various health and benefit programs like SNAP and Fuel Assistance. Additionally, our center provides durable medical equipment lending, supportive counseling, drop-in support groups for bereavement and health conditions such as Parkinson's and low vision, as well as social and exercise activities. We are committed to supporting older adults and their families, ensuring they have the resources and connections they need to thrive in our community. For those in need of specialized assistance, we also provide legal service clinics and dementia support.
