Baby Steps, located in Dorchester, MA, is dedicated to supporting former premature infants and those facing challenges in their newborn journey through comprehensive developmental evaluations and nutritional assessments. Our multidisciplinary team, which includes a skilled developmental and behavioral pediatrician, experienced occupational therapists, and two compassionate dietitians, strives to ensure that each child receives the tailored care they deserve. We understand that navigating these early years can be daunting, which is why we also include a family outreach advocate to guide families toward essential community-based services and resources. Our services encompass development evaluations, nutritional assessments, and personalized recommendations for appropriate developmental interventions and medical management. For infants experiencing diet-related challenges or inadequate weight gain, our dietitian conducts home visits to develop feeding plans, while specialized feeding assessments are available for those with specific feeding difficulties. We believe in ongoing care, scheduling follow-up appointments as needed to meet the evolving needs of each child and family.
