Susan Hollis, LICSW, brings over 30 years of clinical experience in outpatient settings to her practice. She specializes in working with adults and elders facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and chronic illness. Susan also supports families and caregivers managing the complexities related to chronic health issues, dementia, addictions, mental illness, and developmental/intellectual challenges. As a caregiver herself to two beautiful children who are intellectually challenged, medically fragile, and deaf-blind, she possesses a unique understanding of the stresses that come with such responsibilities. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic, integrating mind-body techniques and non-traditional methods to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and emotional upheaval. Susan is trained in a variety of therapy types, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Compassion Focused therapy, and she provides support to individuals and couples both in-person and virtually. Additionally, as a Reiki master, she incorporates this holistic practice into her sessions, creating a nurturing and compassionate environment for healing.
