Ellen Queeney

Ellen Queeney is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding credentials as an LICSW, MDiv, and RYT. She specializes in working with young children and teens, utilizing play therapy as her primary modality. Ellen has a profound understanding of the developmental challenges that children face, including behavior problems, trauma, foster care, and adoption. She has demonstrated success in supporting parents through coaching and consultation, and often collaborates with teachers and educators to foster success for her clients and their families. In addition to her work with children and teens, Ellen also offers her expertise to adults facing a diverse range of issues. She believes in the importance of supporting clients in exploring their lives and encourages them to pursue their most authentic selves while navigating daily responsibilities and stressors. For Ellen, therapy is a collaborative journey with clients of all ages. She has created a dedicated play therapy room in her office that allows children to engage with various play themes and materials, along with a separate therapy office designed for adult clients.
