Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Winfield, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our team of experts, including social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, nurses, and research coordinators, works collaboratively to address the unique needs of young patients and their families. We offer a range of services that encompass clinical care, nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care throughout their treatment journey. As patients transition into adult care after 21, we continue to facilitate their ongoing support by collaborating with adult Hematology/Oncology providers. At AYA, we prioritize feedback from our patients and families to continually enhance our services, ensuring that no one faces their health challenges alone.
