The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Winfield, KS is dedicated to fostering a just food system through education and advocacy. Our program empowers participants by providing them with hands-on training in organic food systems, equipping them to become effective teachers and advocates in their communities. We offer our Fellows a unique six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, culminating in a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in collaboration with local non-profits. With a focus on sustainable practices, our Fellows gain the skills to grow diversified crops, coordinate community gardens, and enhance food literacy within educational settings. This fellowship is tuition-free, ensuring access for all who wish to make a positive impact in their communities. We welcome applications until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
