Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

Located in Wellsville, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are battling cancer and blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and specially trained Child Life professionals, focuses on delivering tailored clinical services that cater to the unique needs of adolescents and young adults. We prioritize patient and family involvement in the care process, fostering open feedback to continually enhance our services. As patients transition into adulthood, we collaborate with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure seamless continuity of care. AYA is committed to offering essential services such as nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support, creating a nurturing environment where young patients can thrive during their treatment journeys.
