Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Wellsville, KS, aims to empower and inspire participants to become advocates and educators in a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through comprehensive organic food system education, our program promotes hands-on experience through a six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, where Fellows collaborate with local nonprofits to implement innovative solutions. Initiatives include cultivating diversified crops on a market-style farm, establishing school and community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in educational settings. We believe in accessibility, which is why we do not charge tuition for our Fellowship.
