Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Located in Valley Center, KS, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is dedicated to supporting low-income women, infants, and children under the age of five through essential nutrition education and supplemental food assistance. Our program focuses on improving the health and well-being of families facing medical and nutritional risks by offering valuable resources such as nutrition education to enhance eating habits, supplemental food checks to purchase nutritious foods, and referrals to local community health agencies for additional support. We also provide free breastfeeding support and educational classes to empower new mothers. To get started, new clients are encouraged to contact our WIC Call Center to schedule a health exam appointment, and please note that due to COVID-19, all appointments are currently conducted via phone to ensure everyone's safety.
