The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Salina, KS, is dedicated to empowering and supporting patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Our committed team includes social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, nurses, and physicians, all collaborating to provide comprehensive clinical services tailored to the unique challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. We focus on delivering compassionate care that encompasses not only medical treatment but also essential emotional and psychological support, including nutrition planning and fertility counseling. As patients transition to adult care after age 21, we work closely with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
