Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Saint Marys, KS, is dedicated to empowering individuals as advocates for a just, sustainable food system. Through hands-on training and education, we enable Fellows to explore organic farming practices and community-focused initiatives. Our program promotes accessibility by charging no tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals can participate. Over six months at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows gain invaluable experiential learning, working on diversified crop production, implementing innovative health education, and supporting local farmers markets. Following this, the Community Action Year allows them to collaborate with regional non-profits to further advance food assistance, ecological literacy, and community engagement. Applications are accepted until March for a transformative experience that runs from May to October.
