Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Sabetha, KS, is dedicated to offering comprehensive support and treatment for patients aged 13 and older who are battling cancer or blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team, which includes social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, physicians, and nurses, is committed to addressing the unique needs of adolescents and young adults during this challenging time. We aim to create an environment where patients and their families are at the center of care, continually gathering feedback to enhance our services. Our program not only provides clinical care but also focuses on crucial aspects such as nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support, ensuring a holistic approach to healing. As our patients transition to adult care after age 21, we collaborate with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure a seamless continuation of support and services.
