The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Parsons, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our compassionate team, which includes physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and child life specialists, focuses on meeting the unique needs of adolescents and young adults during their treatment journey. We offer a variety of services tailored to enhance the quality of life for our patients, including specialized clinical care, nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support for both patients and their families. As patients transition into adult care after age 21, we facilitate a seamless connection with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure continuity of care. At AYA, we prioritize patient and family feedback to continually improve our services, making our program a nurturing and empowering resource during a challenging time.
