Kansas SNAP-Ed

Kansas SNAP-Ed is dedicated to empowering low-income Kansans in Parsons and the surrounding areas to make healthy choices through engaging nutrition and physical activity education. Our mission is to make the healthy choice the easy choice by working together with local and statewide organizations to enhance policies and systems that foster healthy behaviors. Through our SNAP-Ed classes, participants learn how to achieve positive nutritional changes, increase their intake of fruits and vegetables, enhance physical activity, and make the most of their food resources. We provide essential nutrition and health education to help individuals and families thrive.
