Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Parsons, KS US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Parsons, KS, is dedicated to nurturing advocates and educators who champion a food system grounded in social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program offers a unique, tuition-free opportunity for selected Fellows to engage in a transformative six-month experiential study at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Here, they receive comprehensive training in organic food systems, equipping them to grow and distribute diverse crops, mentor future fellows, and lead community initiatives such as maintaining school gardens and supporting farmers markets. Through a Community Action Year, Fellows apply their learning in partnership with local non-profits to enhance food access and foster community resilience. We invite passionate individuals to join us in cultivating a just food future; applications are accepted until March for the experience running from May to October.
