Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Norton, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our specialized team consists of social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, physicians, nurses, and nurse practitioners, all focused on addressing the distinct challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. We emphasize a family-centered approach, actively seeking input from patients and their families to continually enhance our services. In addition to clinical care, we offer critical support services including nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and access to counseling resources, ensuring that our patients receive compassionate and holistic care. As patients transition to adult care at age 21, we facilitate collaboration with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure seamless support throughout their journey.
