Kansas SNAP-Ed is dedicated to empowering low-income residents of Newton, KS, to make healthier lifestyle choices through comprehensive nutrition and physical activity education. By collaborating with local and statewide organizations, we aim to enhance policies and create supportive environments that promote well-being. Our SNAP-Ed classes provide practical resources and training designed for benefits recipients, enabling them to improve their nutrition, increase their intake of fruits and vegetables, enhance physical activity, and make the most of their food budgets. Through focused nutrition and health education, we strive to create a healthier community, one choice at a time.
