Kansas SNAP-Ed is dedicated to supporting low-income residents of McPherson, KS, in making healthier choices accessible and straightforward. Through engaging nutrition and physical activity education, we empower individuals to enhance their well-being and optimize their food resources. Our SNAP-Ed classes offer practical guidance to benefits recipients, fostering improved nutrition habits, increased fruit and vegetable consumption, and greater physical activity. By collaborating with local and statewide organizations, we also work tirelessly to influence policies and create environments conducive to healthy living. Our mission is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead healthier lifestyles while making the most of their food budgets.
