Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in McPherson, KS, is dedicated to cultivating a just food system through education, empowerment, and community engagement. We sponsor and train passionate individuals to become advocates for sustainable agriculture, offering invaluable organic food system education without tuition costs to ensure accessibility. Our program equips Fellows to grow and distribute diverse crops on market-style farms and implement health-focused educational sessions. They also play pivotal roles in maintaining school and community gardens, enhancing food and ecological literacy in educational settings, and supporting local farmers' markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives. During the six-month experiential residency at our campus, selected Fellows will not only gain practical skills but will also engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to bring about meaningful change. Interested applicants should complete their applications by March, with experience running from May to October.
