Martin Dressman believes that substance use disorders and other mental health conditions should be approached and treated with the same respect, understanding, acceptance, compassion, and competent care as physical maladies. He sees individuals grappling with these challenges as wonderful, gifted, moral, and capable people striving for meaning and purpose in their lives. With extensive experience in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings, Martin provides individual, couples, marital, family, and group counseling, as well as life coaching. He is also skilled in performing Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations. At 72 years old, Martin is happily married for 33 years and is the proud parent of a 27-year-old daughter. Originally from western Kansas, he has called the Kansas City area home since 1983 and is a proud Vietnam Veteran.
