Insoon Hoagland is a retired army chaplain and combat veteran, who immigrated from Korea in 1989. As an ordained minister of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), she brings a wealth of experience to her practice as a certified clinical chaplain and pastoral counselor. Insoon is also a board-certified clinical supervisor for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) interns and associates in Kansas, and a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. Additionally, she holds certification as a Child Play Therapist. Her professional journeys in the military have shaped her perspectives on life’s numerous challenges, allowing her to assist individuals in navigating their struggles with a unique insight into life and death. As an integrated psychotherapist and solution-focused Christian therapist, Insoon's mission is to help clients uncover their true potential and lead fulfilling lives. While the difficult situations of the past cannot be changed, she fosters a collaborative environment to better understand and resolve personal issues.
