Dr. Susanne Eyman is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who feels privileged to participate in her clients' journeys toward growth and transformation. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Southern California and obtained her PhD from the University of Nevada at Reno. Her extensive training includes a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in child and adult clinical psychology at the Menninger Clinic. Having served as a staff psychologist at Topeka State Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Washburn University, Dr. Eyman has been in private practice in northeast Kansas since 1988, opening her current practice in Lawrence in 2006. Her expertise spans across various ages, including preteens, children, teens, adults, and elders, with a focus on diverse issues such as bipolar disorder, infidelity, parenting, and mood disorders among others, utilizing therapy modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.
