Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Kansas City, KS, is dedicated to empowering patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our comprehensive approach combines clinical services with compassionate support tailored to meet the unique needs of young patients and their families. Our team is comprised of skilled professionals, including social workers, child life specialists, nutritionists, and dedicated medical staff, all working together to provide holistic care and resources. We recognize the importance of patient and family feedback in shaping our services, and we strive to continuously enhance the quality of care we provide. As patients transition to adult care after age 21, we collaborate with adult Hematology/Oncology providers to ensure continuity of support, making sure no one faces these challenges alone.
