MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Independence, KS, is dedicated to empowering Veterans in their journey toward healthier living. This program focuses on combating obesity through a range of tailored weight management solutions that cater to the diverse needs of Veterans. Each year, MOVE! screens every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connects them with effective resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. Additionally, Veterans have the option to utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent management, or explore advanced treatments such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges.
