Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

Located in Hutchinson, KS, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and clinical services for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Our caring team, which includes social workers, child life specialists, nurses, nutritionists, and physicians, focuses on the specific needs of adolescents and young adults, ensuring a supportive environment during their treatment journey. We understand the challenges faced by AYA patients and their families, which is why we actively seek feedback to enhance the quality of care we provide. Services offered include nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and psychosocial support, all aimed at helping our patients navigate their treatment and transition smoothly into adult care beyond age 21.
